The Williston Park Little League
T-Ball Division is an entry division for 6 Year-Old Boys and Girls who may be
entering Little League Baseball for the first time.

When / Where are Games Played?
Clinics or Games are played Saturday Mornings at Kelleher Field in Williston park..
"Live" Pitching?
A Batting
Tee is used for the first half of the season and a Pitching Machine is used for
the second half
of the season.
Field Dimensions?
The teams play on a standard
T-Ball / Farms Little League Baseball Field with 45 feet between the Bases.
Ball / Bat?
A Standard
"RIF5" Little League
Baseball is used along with an "Approved by Little League
Baseball" Aluminum Baseball Bat.
Players Equipment?
Uniforms
(Shirt and Pants) are supplied by the Williston Park Little League. Cleats
are optional but recommended. You must also supply your own Baseball Glove and
Boys must wear a
Protective Cup.
# of Teams?
Depending
on the numbers of registrations each year, there are usually 3-6
teams with 10-12
players per team.
Game Duration / Innings / Scoring?
A
standard Little League Baseball Game is 6 Innings but each T-Ball Game may vary
depending on player interest. Each half-inning consists of 3 outs or 5-6
players batting
(whichever comes first). No scores are kept.
Positions?
Players are rotated to different
positions throughout the game.
Coaching?
There are
2-3 Coaches per Team and the Coaches are encouraged to be positioned on the Field
with the Players to promote instruction.
Season Length?
Typically, each team plays 7-9 games per season depending on the weather
conditions during the
Spring.
All Star Game?
None.
Umpires?
None.
Summer League?
None.
Fall League?
None.
Parade?
All Players are
required to
march in the Annual Williston Park Little League Parade at the
the beginning of the Spring Season. All Players are also encouraged to
participate in the Williston
Park Memorial Day Parade.
Picture Day?
All
Players are required to participate in Picture Day for a Team Photo (for their
team sponsor)
along with the option to have their individual
picture taken.
